HP may have its share of problems in its overall business, but its maniacal focus on expanding its footprint among existing analog wide-format graphics print applications is not affected. At FESPA, it introduced two new high-volume wide-format printers, its most productive latex and UV-curable ink jet printers to date aimed at expanding HP&rsqu...[ detail ]
There is a lot of discussion going on in recent weeks surrounding the term digital out-of-home compared to digital signage. Some say digital out-of-home is a subset of digital signage where DOOH is related to advertising networks. Others say digital signage is not related to advertising and is a different category than digital out-of-home. The PDAA Graphics Application Zone at SGIA Expo

I planned and coordinated the Professional Decal Application Assn.’s (PDAA) first WrapQuest events. The first was held in Pompano Beach, FL in 2007, the next at 2008’s Specialty Graphics Imaging Assn. (SGIA) Expo in Atlanta. I invested countless hours in the two events, but it was well worth it. I also received invaluable help from PDAA Master Certified installers both times. I left each event knowing we’d successfully achieved PDAA’s goals of providing education and raising the professional bar for graphic installat...
